Dua lipa is a English singer and musician born on August 22, 1995, at London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a several years of hard work. She put out a self-titled album in the year 2017. It peaked at 3rd place at the U.K. Albums Chart and was followed by eight singles including Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. Number One track New Rules which peaked at 6th within the United States. The album, which has since been recognized as Platinum in several countries around the world has won the two Brit Awards (in the year of 2018) in the categories of British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Her parents are of Kosovo Albanian descent. Bosnian roots through her grandmother. Her ancestors are also traced back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. The Lipa's grandparents are historians. She has two siblings, Rina Gjin and Gjin.
